Sailing Instructor
I am Igor Magister from Bariloche, Argentina. At the age of seven I started sailing in optimist and J/24 in Bariloche, beginning my Instructor career in the same place in 2017 as an optimist coach. I also raced for over 6 years in ILCA 6 and 7, achieving great results.
Back in 2021 I worked at the Yacht Club Argentino in Buenos Aires for 3 years as an instructor and coach of various courses, until I moved back to my hometown Bariloche. Nowadays, I work as an Optimist Head Coach and ILCA Coach in the Yacht Club Bariloche, which we founded in 2013 with a group of passionate sailors.

HYC Jr Sailing Committee appreciates all the hard work and perseverance of the sailors, parents, and coaches through the Summer of 2024; This Summer we hope to "accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative, spread joy up to the maximum, and bring gloom down to the minimum." -- same as last year ????
The first Open House for registration will be Sunday, January 26th, 2025, from 1 pm to 4 pm. Super Earlybird will be discounts for all who register by Monday.
